My mother came home from this facility without her medication bottles and ran out of meds which my father had to scramble to get Kaiser to fill. My mother also came back with bed sores on her tailbone/buttocks area that were far worse than what she came in with, a visiting nurse suggested we file a complaint and said it was one stage behind having bone exposed on her tailbone. I've taken photos of this several days ago. She also didn't have her catheter properly strapped down, it was left loose to tug on her catheter, this was also confirmed by her visiting nurse.
My mother continuously complained of being ignored/neglected while at this care facility for the several weeks she was there. She also told some rather horrific accounts of mistreatment of an older lady named Glorieth (sp) across the hall from her that she overheard was disliked by the CNAs/nurse(s) and was starved, given excessive laxatives and made fun of her voice and harassed her for not having proper medical coverage. My mother also said she'd regularly hear CNAs on their phones having arguments with girlfriends/boyfriends and not coming around when she called/pushed the button to get assistance. She came home the first day with a very hoarse throat that she said was from straining to get a CNA/nurse to come to her room... Oh and the TV receptions here are awful, grainy and don't work right, you'd get a better reception from a space station on the other side of the moon...

They have a very good professional reputation when I started to ask around. I knew that I was under the care of many experts. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. I was completely at ease during my stay. The food quality was good and the dining room was very elegant. The facility itself is very clean and inviting. Overall good quality, I felt very comfortable during my temporary stay.

My sister went here for rehab after knee replacement surgery. This is the DIRTIEST facility I have ever seen. There is garbage everywhere and the floor, counters, beds are grubbey. The guy who runs the floor mopper actually used it without cleaning the garbage off the floor first and then only came into each patients room to the foot of the bed. Apparently is only trying to make the hallway nice. One report said 67% of moderately ill patients lost control of either their bladder or bowels after being here, probably from the horrible food served. It has a nasty menu selection, stuff I've never even heard of. We did not see any of the nurses or aids wash their hands between patients. My sis woke up in the middle of the night to find an aide rummaging through her bedside drawer. Two male aides came in and pulled up her nightgown, exposing her, without asking. My recommendation. Don't send your dog here!!!
