Most of the staff are hard working, caring people.
I have seen a small handful of people who don't seem to care about the residents. Most problems there are from management. They try to run critical areas, such as Pathways for Alzheimer care with too few workers. On weekends, there are often only one nurse and one aid that are on the floor with residents full time and a floater that goes between different buildings. Falls have resulted from this, because there is too little staff for the amount of residents that need supervision.

They acted like I was intruding and never made me feel welcome to visit my family member, she was bored to tears and said she was going mad because they did not let her go outside and get some sun, just kept her cooped up all the time,and she loved the outdoors and the sun. She said she was coloring in a coloring book they got her with crayons. When she died they never told us, never put it in the paper, never called anyone in the family, some of us did not know for a year so we could not give her a good funeral, send her off with prayer, she does not even have a public death notice for generations to look her up in the genealogy records. Mary K Diaz was her name and she was a beautiful woman.
