My sister was there for about a week. The conditions are understaffed. She is on Medicaid, which paid for it. They called me to ask when I was stopping in to pay her bill of $4K+. I told them she was on Medicaid and it was paid for by Medicaid. They knew this ... it's in her records and was arranged for by Medicaid. The person plead ignorance. They then sent a bill to my sister. They need to be investigated for Medicaid fraud.
They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort.
The equipment at this nursing home was current and safe and I knew that my loved one would be receiving the highest quality of care. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of.
