This nursing home treated my grandmother so horribly. She was always thirsty when I came to see her and she never wanted family to leave when we came to visit her. She said they were rough with her and hurt her. My grandmother was in hospice so she was in a situation where she needed to be treated with extra TLC. Coming to visit my grandmother at Shalom it was clear this was a group of staff that did not care about their patients. I would advise against putting your loved one in this nursing home. The majority of the staff do not speak good english and they are rude, inconsiderate and uncaring. my grandmother was fortunate enough to get out of Shalom and was able to pass away at home. But she was a dear kind woman that did not deserve the way this facility treated her. I wrote a letter to the dept of health and they could care less...

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find.

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left.
