On August 28th I sent a check in for $1000.00 deposit to look @ a cottage for my sister and was told that the check would not be cashed until my sister made a decision. On September 9th while checking my bank statement, I noticed the check was cashed. I then called, Teresa Perkowski to find out why and I was told by her that it was an "error". On September 27th, my sister & I met with Teresa and looked at the cottage. After a long conversation with Teresa, my sister decided that although the place was very nice, it was just too small for her and the did not take the cottage. Teresa then told us that the check would be returned to us within two weeks. As of this date (11-14-16), and phone calls to Teresa, I have NOT received my check. This is unacceptable! Therefore I will see legal council to rectify this problem.
had good care on one short stay, then on second short stay had really really bad experience. the staff don't look at residents I had to pull him out. and put elsewhere. and wasn't happy with the other nursing home either. I wish the workers would treat the residents as if they were their own family members. please try to take care of your loved one at home. these nursing homes must change. I was in fear of my loved one health and well being while he was here!
