My Mother was admitted to St Benedict Home for sub-acute rehab following acute rehab after a stroke. She fell her first night due to staff negligience and suffered several injuries including a head contusion which resulted in a severe brain bleed. Staff delayed arranging emergency treatment for over 5 hours, when she was finally taken to hospital emergency by ambulance. She remained hospitalized for over 30 days and eventually died fron complications resulting from negligient care at St. Benedict Home. I pray daily that I might have a "do over" and select another nursing facility. Since this is impossible, I offer this review so you might choose more wisely for yourself or your loved one.

They always have 2 CNA’s working with 33 Pt. CNA don’t have time to clean the Residence as they should because the facility is always short of staff. It is impossible for a CNA to give the care a Residence need/deserve when they are taking care of more than 11 Residence. They have a lot of falling Residence trying to go to the bathroom. Some Residence has been taken to the hospital with serious injury, after falling trying to get the bathroom without assistant.
The Residence doesn’t eat on time duo to lack of staff. Total care Residence doesn’t get to eat at most of the times. Residence does not take shower as they should because the Nursing home is short of staff. Patients don’t get their medication on time.
Residence doesn’t get changed as they should because the facility is short of staff. Some Residence has Bed Sore from been wet longer than they should. Residences are mistreated verbally. Call lights are not answer on time.
