Horrible. Food is like dog food. No one answers lights. No bars in the bathroom. DIRTY, FLITHY nursing home run the other way. NO GOOD> If you love you family. Don't send them here! Place should be closed down NOW!

My mom was in the dementia unit that was locked because of wandering patients. She was there for 2 years.I thought the home was clean and it was.As time went on it went down hill.I was told all patients are brought to restroom after lunch and dinner. No they were not. They had to beg to be taking to restroom. My mom was placed in a wheelchair as everyone was.She didn't need to be in one.She was not incontinent. They put diapers on everyone to avoid having to take themwhen they needed to go.Her health went down hill. She had huge gash in her backside. It was never mentioned. She was sent to Hospital in sept with very low blood pressure and high fever. She had a uri, renal failure, clogged arterys, water in lungs, she was anemic and a diabetic. She couldn't stand because of her arterys closing.Legs swollen like a balloon.Went back to nursing home as hospital did all they could. She fell 5 days later at nursing home. She died the next morning.I will have guilt for the rest of my life. Her fingernails had a fungus from not changing a nail polish for months.Nightmare.Terrible place.Stay away.I will never forgive myself for sending my momto this place.Upper staff no help at all.
