If someone asked me to suggest a good nursing home in the area, it wouldn't be this place. They don't deserve a recommendation in my opinion. Sometimes the staff appears happy to answer my questions and sometimes I'm not sure they are really focusing on me. They don't really take that extra step to make my mom feel special. They do ok, but my mom is just another client to them. Their equipment was ancient. By the looks of it I wouldn't be surprised if they've never replaced any of it. I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance. They did not make a good effort in accomodating my mother. She stayed cold all the time because of the drafts and because they put her in a room with another resident who liked the room cool. They also gave my mother someone else's snack during one of my visits. The staff don't seem to take pride in their care for their residents. I have seem aides and nurses on many ocassions huddling around the nurses station while residents were in of attention.
