The facility is nicely decorated however the staff are questionable at best. The management is aloof and condescending and the majority of the nurses are some of the worse ghetto trash. There are a few diamonds there that try to work hard but they don't last long and leave. the weekly menu was pretty good.
It could be a good place if they had the right leadership which doesn't seem to exist there.

MOUNT ROYAL TOWERS.
IN 6 YEARS MY GRANDMOTHER HAS HAD A CONSSION DUE TO THE CNA's SLAMMING HER HEAD ON THE DOORTO THE BATHROOM(WHEN HOLDING HER SIDEWAYS LIKE A BABY). PRIOR TO THAT A CNA OVER 300LBS WAS GIVING HER A SHOWER AFTER SOAPING HER UP THE CNA "ACCIDENTALLY" FELL ON TOP OF HER AND MY GRANDMOTHER IS 85LBS. DISLOCATED SHOULDER, 3 BROKEN RIBS, CONCUSSION, BROKEN ARM AND BLACK ON THE WHOLE LEFT SIDE OF HER BODY. NO PHONE CALL TO MY DAD WAS MADE. IT WAS OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND SO WE DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING HAPPEND UNTIL WE SAW HER LAYING THERE IN THE BED JUST PURPLE AND BLACK. WE ASKED WHAT HAPPENED AND THE CNA'S TOLD US AND THAT THEY HAD TAKEN HER TO THE HOSPITAL 48HOURS LATER AND BY THAT TIME IT WAS TOO LATE TO RE-SET HER DISLOATED SHOULDER, OR FIX ANYTHING. WE WERE NOT CALLED EVEN SAYING SHE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. AND WE REQUESTED THE DOCUMENTS STATING THE FACT THAT THEY TOOK HER TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER THE "ACCIDENT OCCURED" AND THEY FREAKIN TO HER TO THE WRONG HOSPITAL ON TOP OF THAT! I HAVE SEE WITH MY OWN EYES THE CNA'S "DRUG" THE RESIDENTS WITH THERE MEDICINE SO THEY DONT HAVE TO FEED THEM. AND THE CNA'S LAUGHING ABOUT IT AND OPENINGLY SAY WHAT AND WHY THEY DID IT. AND THE RESIDENTS ALL EVENTUALLY PASSED AWAY. I REPORTED THIS TO MOUNT ROYAL MANY TIMES, BUT THE OFFICE JUST SAID THAT NONE OF THEIR STAFF WOULD DO SUCH A THING. THIS IS ALL JUST THE MINOR THINGS THAT HAS HAPPENED. I HAVE PICTURES, VIDEOS, AND A LOT MORE STORIES. IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING EVERYDAY. AND NOW THEY ARE KICKING MY GRANDMOTHER OUT BECAUSE THEY GOT CAUGHT BY THE STATE FOR MOVING A NUNCH OF SKILLED RESIDENTS TO THE ASSISTED LIVING FLOOR FOR 2 YEARS. SO NOW THEY GAVE US 30 DAYS AND HELL EVERYDAY IN THIS 30 DAYS. LIKE THE ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGING MY GRANDMOTHER'S FOOD FROM REGULAR TO PURREE, JUST BECAUSE SHE SAW HER SPITTING HER FOOD OUT AND WOULDN'T CHEW IT. FIRST OF ALL SHE HAD NO RIGHT TO CHANGE IT (SHE IS NO DOCTOR) 2ND OF ALL SHE DID NOT CALL US TO TELL US OF THIS CHANGE, AND 3RD WHEN I FOUND OUT FROM THE CNA'S THAT MY GRANDMOTHER WAS GETTING PURREE FOOD IM BREAKFAST AND DINNER FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS MINUS LUNCH BECAUSE I FEED HER AND THEY KNOW I'M THERE AND WENT BEHIND MY BACK AND MADE THIS CHANGE. I SAID I WOULD SPIT IT OUT TOO. THE FOOD IS MOLDED OR HARD AS A ROCK. I TOLD HER THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING AND SHE WOULDN'T EAT IT EITHER. I SAID I TAKE HER MCDONALDS ONCE A WEEK OR SO AND SHE EATS IT LIKE ITS GOING OUT OF STYLE. I SAID SHE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH EATING AND YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO CHANGE IT, YOUR NOT EVEN A DOCTOR MISS L! YEP I SAID YOUR NAME AND I HOPE YOU SEE THIS. MOUNT ROYAL SUCKS AND KILLS PEOPLE. FYI IT's A DEATH TRAP.
