I worked there briefly, I witnessed clients being verbally abused, it was brought up and never addressed. There was always an excuse for the staff in regards to their retaliation to client. It doesn't matter what has been documented and expressed what their behaviors have been. All concerns should be addressed professionally and promptly. When concern was addressed to CEO John Long the response was setting up a meeting with that individual staff to "hash" it out. Client complained of hunger and staff throwing food in the trash. Many staff was very unhappy and had complaints that were never documented OR taken seriously. What a shame.

I worked at McCall's and I'm telling you now that place is horrible. The clients all look miserable some even got abused and it was never reported. I know for a fact of two employees that were abusing prescription medications (prescribed to the employees not the clients) and tried to sue McCall's. I tried reporting it and nothing was ever done about it. This facility needs to be thoroughly investigated by the state in my opinion.
