I was very unhappy with the care my brother received at this facility. I found that the staff really did not tell me the whole truth at times. In addition, they required a month's deposit and when they asked us to move him to another facility, it took over 30 days to receive the refund. The original refund was incorrect and I had to call again to have the correct money refunded.
In addition, they contract with a pharmacy provider who provides 30 days of medications. I neither received the medications when we left the facility nor was the charge for the medications prorated for us. Still trying to work that out however no one will call me back from the facility. When I contacted their "I Care" line from the website, I thought I was raising concerns however they just transferred me to the facility where I still did not reach the person I supposedly was to contact.
My mother has been In Lexinton 3 different times and I always get the feeling that some of the staff have no idea what is going on with her. It's fair to say that some staff care more than others. I dont feel that my mother was ever checked on enough and you rarely see the nurses unless they are delivering meds. There have been times when her clothing wasnt changed or they never bothered putting her in her nightgown at night. There is NO excuse for this!
