I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant and told me I was just overreacting. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. It never fails how long I have to wait on hold when I call them. I'm always put on hold forever and I find myself not even wanting to call. I had to wait quite a while for my appointment. I was very disappointed. Their equipment was ancient. By the looks of it I wouldn't be surprised if they've never replaced any of it.
My view the nurses are not trained well to handle the Wound Vac equipment and one of the nures was dozing off in front of the head nurse and she did not say anything to her. Now this is the nurse that hands out the medication to the patients, why in the world would they let a person like this work in a facility. The food isalso horrible, they say that it is a low sugar diet plan then why are they giving the residents juices that taste like pure surgar. i have made many attempts to verbaly state this and nothing has changed. Next step will be to call the State and make a formal complaint.
