Their staff was somewhat friendly, but they didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Their facility looked like the cleaning crew may have skipped a week. It is surface cleaned. They pay n o attention to resident's complaints about missing or stolen items, especially if that person does not have an advocate. They do not clean the patient's dentures, misplace their personal belongings and assume no responsiblilty for stolen or missing items. The director is curt and out of touch, is not aware of policies and does the bare minimum. Special dietery requests are ignored. Most aids do not speak English well and do not even assist severely handicapped people with their meals. Laundry is regularly misplaced, even when labeled and placed in the patient's closet in a wad. Each aid is responsible for 7 long term care patients. This is a "for profit" facility and the people who do the most work are the lowest paid and seem to be uneducated in their fields, unappreciated and unmotivated.
unprofessional staff, terrible place to work, no raises, unappropriate discussions on the job, and they leave residents in their wheelchairs after appointments, they will not come get them when they a re called b/c they "are to busy", UM HELLO these residents are paying to live here, they need to be attended to!
