Please don't put your loved ones here they gossip about each residents personal info. I worked there I didn't know what to do a lot of women there openly admitted they couldn't pass drug tests and stayed there for that Reason. We had a resident there for 2 weeks with a certain health condition the staff thought they could catch it from feeding him my grandmother had it I kept telling people that it was safe to take care of him. I told the supervisor and she thought you could catch it from his saliva as well. Only myself and one other lady would feed him I wondered a lot of times if he got fed if we weren't there. No one hit or intentionally hurt residents in front of me, but there was not enough staff you were told if you could take care of a 2 assist patient alone do it. If you got hurt taking care of resident alone then the same charge nurses that told you to threw you under the bus. They made fun of me for being sad when an old resident passed away just because she was old it was dumb to be sad she passed. Another resident who was dying of a degenerative disease had food shoveled in his mouth as quickly as possible because he liked to eat fast that wasn't true. This man would rub his legs against the wall in pain and they were always bleeding I was told he had skin sleeves but no one knew where they were all you could do was try to cover up part of the wall with covers. I recieved threats from other employees openly in front of everyone. People would get fired and rehired all the time. You would find briefs on residents with a date over 24 hrs before. Everyone told me it was useless to call because nothing ever gets done and you'll end up in trouble. People always sat on the back porch smoking they started putting the dependable workers on call to makeup for the habitual no shows. Myself and another lady had to put in our notices because we were in college and couldn't come running when the poor employees didn't show. I wish I would have done something but I didn't know what to do or how to do it without getting in trouble in the process. I would look up how to report and it was hard to figure out and saw I could get in trouble in the process because you had to first report to the supervisor. Maybe it has changed since I left but I doubt it. The pay rate is lower than Wendys most good CNAS won't work there, I only did because I was in college and it was close to where I lived at the time and was only for the short term. There are so many well paying CNA jobs ask yourself why someone would stay there for yrs if they had a choice. Its because they don't require physicals and let girls pee in cups for each other. Please do a lot of investigating and if you put your loved one there check on them constantly. There are some good staff members but the bad outweigh them and they can't possibly keep up with everyone. I'll never go back to a career in one of these places it's heart breaking. My family wanting me to quit going I hoped so badly when I put in my notice they would release me but I had to work everyday of it with women threatening me in front of the supervisors. This is not where you want your loved ones. They do not have enough staff and most of them smoke all day, I saw people take call buttons away from residents. These 15 month checks are worthless they should be doing random checks on this place without anyone tipping them off that it's going to occur.

They allow an LPN who is emotionally and psychologically abusive to work here. This was reported to the supervisors the ADON and the DON. The nurse still works there. Her name is Donna. they also allowed a CNA to continue working after failing a drug test. This place is horrible. Do not send anyone you love here
