My mother has been a guest for the past two+ years. I have been very pleased with her care. The physician has been very caring and has not prescribed any meds that were not necessary. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the nurses and nursing assistants that have been with her. The staff works very hard to ensure the comfort of their patients.
The meals are very good. I have tasted some of the food and have always been impressed with the taste as well as the presentation of the food. There are also several choices at every meal.
I especially like the care plans for each patient--every 90 days I attend her care planning meeting where the dietician, nurse, and occupational and physical therapists attend also. They let me know exactly what is "going on" with my mother's care and ask me if there is anything I wish them to do or suggestions.
I am very happy knowing my mother is being well cared for--I could not offer this level of care for her in my home.

My mother was a resident here. They permanently destroyed her quality of life by using the wrong medical equipment (as noted by her doctor) so that she did not heal properly. By the time the physician saw this, it was too late to change. The disability it caused is permanent and means that she will likely never be able to return home.

I observed them take 45 minutes to answer her simple call for a bedpan after her evening meal. The nursing staff could or would not answer my questions in a serious way although the therapy staff were very helpful. I was not able to reach my mother by telephone because the phone in her room was located where she could not reach it. This means that she was isolated from me most of the time because I live in another state.

I am not impressed by this facility and staff. It is dingy and the rooms are tiny with little room for visitors. I find the nursing staff to be condescending and unhelpful, not to mention the issue with not providing the right care so that there is long term damage.
