3 stars to a very few nurses. This place sure knows how to cover up a wrongful death with the Ohio department of health. The medical director doesn't care about his patients at this nursing home. When I found my mom practically on her death bed for two days and no one called the family to act on her behalf, or send her to the ER, and she was a full code, I blame the doctor and especially the nurse practitioner on duty that evening for not seeking immediate medical attention. Who does that!? Wow! Our elderly are not throw aways, sadly this is how she was treated!! I am outraged and want to warn everyone to keep a close eye on your loved ones, don't take no for an answer. I fought for 12 hours with the nurse practioner to send my mom to the ER, why I had to do this baffles me to this day. Now she is gone. In case you didn't know, nursing homes are all about money, they will do everything to look good on paper, even with ODH, sad but true, i saw many things over the years as i have worked in nursing homes for many years, but not anymore, didn't like what i saw!

I plan on telling everyone I know about how terrible this nursing home is. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They didn't seek medical attention for my mom while she lay semi-unconscious in bed for two days, never called 911 or family in a timely manner and she was a full code.
she died a month later. they give up on taking care of patients who need extensive assistance, such as Hoyer lifting her to the bathroom for a change, she had many, many urinary tract infections because she sat for hours, yes hours, in a wet depends. Turns out learn just before she passed that she didn't get her arthritis medicine for quite awhile, no wonder she couldn't feed herself, was stiff and in pain, nor was she getting her Parkinson's medicine, that I can't figure out. The new trend in nursing homes is not to send people to the ER whether they need it or not, because they will not get the larger share of the pot. Consumers need to know this about all nursing homes. Sad but true. As long as your love one doesn't need to much assistance they should be fine, but always keep a close eye on them and listen to them when they tell you anything, even if it sounds impossible.
