Martin Johnson, M.D.

Board-Certified Dermatologist. Native of Springhill, LA. Graduated form Springhill High School (1979), Louisiana Tech University (1983) and LSU Medical School-Shreveport (1986), each time at the top of his class. Joined the United States Air Force in 1986; practiced as a Flight Surgeon, Dermatologist and Commander for 21 years; specialty trained in Dermatology and Immunodermatology; served 5 years as Chief Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for Dermatology; and retired as colonel, 2007.

Dr. Johnson practices general and surgical dermatolgy for all ages. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Mohs Surgeons, he has specific interests in skin cancer and skin cancer surgery. As an immunodermatologist, he is specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory skin diseases, including psoriasis.

Dr. Johnson is exceptionally skilled in minor cosmetic procedures to include mole and lesion removal, leg spider vein treatment, and Botox and filler injections for facial wrinkles.

Best I can say about this is that it is a "Doc in a box". Been there three times and it is ALWAYS full, to nearly "standing room only". Wait on the first visit was over an hour. 2nd one about the same. Third one surprisingly was less than a half hour.
