Their staff is very friendly and professional. Was only my second appt, very dissapointing - but I was extremely satisfied with the first visit. I have many chronic conditions I take meds for just to be able to move, and previous doctor that moved out of state finally found a combo that worked and we never had to change a thing for the last 7 years. Passed every random drug screen & UA given. On my 1st visit with Dr K he had stated he would give me the meds working up to them gradually. I felt as if he cared & trusted him. This time I felt as if another doctor showed up. He wanted to cut back the meds he did give me (which were not even the amount fully given by the previous doc.) and my pain level is extreme. Never gave me the rest of all meds I needed as he had promised, and he was already talking about cutting back on the meds that dont even keep my pain bearable! I also had 365 pages of MRI's, xrays, letters from primary care, neurosurgeons, sports meds....you name it proving indeed these conditions exist and are not fake. He gave them all back to me except for
one letter from primary care stating conditions and meds, and I even took the time to update things not in the letter since it was written. Again, I felt as if I had a completely different doctor..and didnt get the chance to tell him I had been kicked in the face by a vagrant that knocked out two crowns in the front of my mouth...(which was terrifying), and I was going to ask him if he
knew of a dentist that could help me as I dont have dental. Now the medical asst had told me I was the 33rd pt of the day, so I'm hoping he was just busy, but still no excuse for blowing me off. I also been paying Dr K cash...money I must pay back to someone as I'm waiting for SS and or medicaid..whichever comes first. He gave me two out of 3 Rx's, because one was a week early..so now next week I have to again rely on someone else to drive me to his office to pick up that one. I will keep the next appt...but not sure as if yet I will now refer him until I see him again. Everyone has a bad day, but he saw me only a month and a half ago, and I just felt as if he didnt even remember one thing about me. Dissapointed, and plan to keep next appt., then will see if I sadly need to find a new doctor.

Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. I was extremely upset that my last doctor of 15 yrs had moved on to another healthcare facility, as I had such a great professional service with, and also felt as we were close friends. My past doctor also only made me see him only once a year, not making me pay for unneeded visits just to make a buck. I never had to pay for an appt for my monthly prescriptions, and he would just phone in an antiobitic or something for a UTI without me having to see him.I would just pick up the RX's at the office. He also knew that you, yourself are your best doctor. In this day and age when its so hard finding a doctor that will listen...not rush, and does not give his unwanted remarks about prescriptions I have been taking for 15 years, I found Dr K very friendly, thorough, and yes - a sense of humor! When I needed my prescriptions filled the next month - keeping his word he wrote them out and I just picked them up after 4pm at the office. He seems to me he never 4got the 1st thing they teach in medical school. "First do no harm". That, in my opinion includes not just the way he practices good medicne, but more importantly the way your treated. He is a smart doctor - seems he knows whom is telling the truth and who is not. I suggest to all to always be yourself to your doctor. Dr. K probably thinks I'm a little nuts as i tell the truth & do not put on an act..and really talk to him as I do others and I dont hold back. He probably thinks I'm nuts, lol (j/k). You will find that Dr K is as human as all of us and also has a great personality & I look forward to having him as my new doctor! I did have to pay alot...but that was a consultation AND a first visit, so I cannot say what the normal fee would be for future appts. Highly recommend and will keep posting on my future appts, refills, etc on Dr K as I think the relationship between your Doctor and your healthcare is crucial and does NOT have to feel as if you are on trial for a felony as we all know too many doctors do especially when looking for a new one. 5 stars!
