I was a patient of Dr Schefter for a couple of years before I switched doctors.I stck with him, despite his arrogance because he'd done a great job on my surgery. But, that all changed the day he declared I had cancer again (without benefit of a biopsy), and immediately started blaming me, and making sure that I was aware he was not to blame. As soon as he started treating me as a potential litigant, and not as a patient under his care I decided I'd had enough of his arrogance. So happy I switched Doctors.

Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. Dr. Schefter was incredibly insensitive, criticized me for bringing my daughter in, complained about "the system" and I left bawling because I felt so hurt and abused. He was very sarcastic and to be treated like that by a medical professional was devastating. I brought my daughter in with a referral from the allergist. She has chronic sinus infections, and the allergist, and PCP wanted to see if it was something structural in her nose or sinus cavities.

Instead, I left feeling alone, hurt, and ashamed for trying to take care of my daughter. I actually asked him "Why are you being so mean to me about this? I am just trying to get to the bottom of her situation." it was awful
