Was treated very well initially, had a required physical exam prior to my adoption of a child. When I came in several years later, in intense pain and seeking a referral, I was badgered and urged by the PA to simply undergo a surgical procedure which had a very low expectation of resolution. His attitude with me was belligerent, condescending, and disrespectful.

When I returned to see Dr. Zelazo himself, I explained why I wanted to see him instead of his PA (to have a chance at receiving a referral), and Dr. Zelazo himself shouted at me in the presence of my husband to "get to the point." Note: No one would ever describe me as a babbler.

I was 40 years old at the time and had had no previous health issues. He had been my personal physician (though largely unneeded) for almost 10 years and also treated my husband and mother-in-law. I am a successful professional. I would never see this man again or refer anyone* I cared about to his care.
