I've gone to Dr. Douglis for several years, so my thoughts are based on multiple experiences over a period of years. I can typically get an appointment quickly - which I appreciate - but the wait is always quite long (typically over an hour before I'm seen). Neither he nor his staff are extremely personable and he doesn't seem overly concerned about actually fixing what is wrong with you. When I try to ask questions, he typically interrupts before I finish my question and answers a completely different question.

Most bothersome to me is that it became apparent over time that their practice is to make you come in for as many follow-up appointments as possible. Each time I went in with a problem (even a sinus infection), they would insist on multiple follow-up visits. Once, when I didn't schedule a follow-up, they called me and told me that I had abnormal test results and needed to come in immediately to discuss them. They requested that I come in that very day. When I went in for the follow-up, I found out that there was nothing wrong with my test results at all. I pointed out that they had worried me needlessly and he simply brushed it off and said that I needed a follow-up anyway.

We have been patients of Dr Douglis for nearly three years. In that time, he has seen each and every member of our family. From ear aches to tonsils, and rashes and skin test to everything in between. At first yes, he was a bitter pill to swallow, but come to think of it, sometime it’s the best medicine! He has ALWAYS listen to what we have to say, has prescribed what was need and ever operated for the good of our sons health without any problems at all. This year, he did something above and beyond. He saved my wife's live. She had what appeared to be a rash, allergic reaction or dermatitis. Not the case, he was able to, without a doubt or hesitation diagnosis her with an Auto Immune Disorder. He then referred us to a Specialist Dermatologist who agreed with Dr. Douglis and within days had my wife on track with the right doctors, medications and treatment. Although there is no known cure for her illness, my wife will recover from her disease. Without Dr. Douglis and his PRESISTANCE of examining, testing and referring, my wife may not be here today. To all that say he's rude, costly or downright not a good doctor, I say you’re WRONG! If you want something that is warm and fuzzy, hug a teddy. If you want one of the best doctors in the field or Ear, Nose and Throat seek Dr. Douglis. Dr. Douglis is a fine doctor, a great practitioner and a wonderful human being. Dr. Douglis if you happen to read this, Thank you for giving my wife a second chance at life!
