BEWARE---QUACK QUACK!!!! Steven Ash is personable......but he has no idea what's going on with you medically. He told me I had prostatitis...and had me on antibiotics for 6 months....I asked him twice if this was on the excessive side. I told him it wasn't working.....he kept me on them. It didn't work, and eventually I think he was just throwing darts at a dartboard. His whole mantra was ching ching on the cash register......keep coming in for another appointment and we'll see what's happening then. I was a patient for 6 months....and I still was at square ONE......I told him to take a hike. His office manager is a nasty
witch. Terrible....expensive....horrible experience. They took an x-ray and the
pictures were horrible....he said they needed to have their x-ray machine repaired,
had been waiting for several months to have that done. I went to a new urologist,
and come to find out I had 3 large kidney stones. I've had 3 procedures done....
none of which Steven Ash even mentioned or recommended. AGAIN-----BEWARE.........QUACK QUACK!!!!!!

I was recently admitted to Baylor medical for kidney stones where Ash was the on call.
It took 23 hrs from admittance for him to stop in. He spent approximately 10 mins with me then recommended a procedure that could only be performed at his practice's surgical center. It was disclosed he had an ownership once I arrived. He had me discharged to travel to his center 14 miles away and while I was being discharged his office called me several times to collect money from me stating the procedure couldn't be performed without payment.
Calling patients in their hospital rooms to beat money out of them while they are under distress is a poor business practice and shows a lack of regard for patients.
The doctor wasn't at the center when I woke up from the procedure. He has not subsequently called or anyone from his practice called to check on my condition since the procedure. The office staff called and stated the doctor wanted me to come to the office for a follow up CT and to bring payment for $200.
The office staff is rude and unprofessional. The doctor is disinterested and has created a culture in his practice that disregards everything but getting paid.
If I weren't in pain and under duress I would and never will visit this practice again.
This experience was awful in every regard.
