These people are genuinely concerned about patient care. The staff is friendly and responsive, the office is clean and efficient, and Doctor Spikes is involved and thorough. Should the need arise I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I found Dr. Spikes to be condescending, rude and unprofessional. I am 39 weeks (9 months) pregnant and my OBGyn referred me for an Ultrasound to check my right leg for blood clots. Dr. Spikes’ demeanor was unfriendly and curt from the beginning of the appointment. Despite his attitude, the appointment went fine until he asked me to lie on my stomach so that he could scan the back of my leg. I told him I was not comfortable lying on my stomach since I am hugely pregnant. He immediately became indignant and told me he would not finish performing the test unless I lay on my stomach. He did not provide me with any reasoning for this and seemed very annoyed that I would defy his order. I ended up leaving after he repeatedly told me he would not finish the scan unless I lie on my stomach, which would have been extremely uncomfortable for me and I did not want to do this. After speaking to other health care professionals afterward, I have been told that there is no legitimate medical reason that the remainder of the scan could not be performed while I was lying on my side and that it is probably a personal preference for Dr. Spikes to perform the scan with patients lying on their stomachs. Overall he was extremely unprofessional, impatient and does not seem to think that patients should have a say in their own medical care. If you are referred to his office I would suggest seeking another alternative. There are several other imaging centers in town and they will definitely treat you better than Dr. Spikes will.
