If you are NOT pregnant, NOT planning on getting pregnant anytime soon, CANNOT get pregnant, or EVER want to be pregnant, DO NOT go to Omega OBGYN. REPEAT...DO NOT GO to Omega OBGYN!

If you fall under these categories, be prepared to be treated as a second class citizen since your yearly appointments can be EASILY rescheduled without notice/consent multiple times. No lie! It has happened to me each year for that past two years. Oh joy, something new this year, the doctor has decided he does not want to do exams that day of the week any longer. Oh but a week later, after you rescheduled mind you, you get another call saying he's not going to do it on that OTHER day of the week EITHER! Way to change it up doc!

Amazingly, appointments can even be cancelled and wiped clean from their computer as if you did not even schedule it a year ahead of time right after you exited the exam room the previous year and got printed confirmation! Darn! We are booked up for another 3 months so you need to reschedule!!! Wowww truly A-MAZING!

Also, be ready to wait for an hour in the lobby for your appointment (no exaggeration, since I have timed it every year and boy are they consistent haha!). Even though you followed their strict instructions and arrived early, sorry that does not matter! You lose to the pregnant high school teenagers that arrived after you with their baby daddys (complete with pants hanging down around his ankles..oh yeah!). It is more important that THEY are seen BEFORE you cause you know baby daddy needs to get back to detention and pay for these appointments.

Then...oh boy!!! When you manage to get back there, be ready to wait another 30-45 minutes in your undies. It's truly amazing in the course of human history, that no one bothers to have another doctor ready to cover for a doctor that needs to go deliver a baby at the last minute. Even in a practice with SHOCKINGLY 10 doctors, NUMEROUS P.A.'s and even more nurse practitioners...noooobody is available to perform a simple yearly exam! Oops sorry need to reschedule...oh dear we are booked up for another 3 months!!! Shucks you are S.O.L.!

Don't even bother getting your blood work completed there because God knows you will NOT find out until 2.5 months later and only then you will get some random obscure letter in the mail with no details and for you to call them back. No phone call. Oh well, we contact people in the order of criticality of results, silly girl!

You are so much better off getting that done through your general doctor, who by the way of some blessed miracle of God, is able to go through the same exact lab and get your cholesterol results in two weeks. Man he must got some wicked connections!

When you do call them back because of the weird letter, good luck getting a call back the same day as you are not as important as the "rest of their patients" to get a quick 2 minute results call from the nurse.

By the way, all those HIPAA forms you sign each year to release your medical information do not count as the same for when you want those darn test results faxed/mailed to you. Oh no! You need to drive back and sign AGAIN...this time they are DIFFERENT HIPAA forms from the one you signed 2.5 months ago! Whoopsies! Time to spend more gas money, time in traffic, and wait in the lobby after work to do that!

To all the non-mom, professional/career women, and non-stay at home ladies...do yourself a favor and find a doctor's office that can actually meet your needs and busy schedule.

That is all.
