dr kappa performed a nissan fundoplication surgery on me three years ago. he failed to infrom me of the severity of the symptoms resulting from this surgery, an that it has a high failure rate. when i went back a month later with problems related to the surgery, he was defensive and told me that if he had to re do anyhting that he would cut me wide open instead of doing it laproscopically, i took this as a threat. when i went back three years later with a whole slew of issues related to the surgery he woulldnt hear any of my compaints instead he told me that i was " obsessing over gas bloat and that i needed to see a shrink", he repeated the line "are you seeing a psychiatirist sir, are you seeing a psychiatrist sirt, over and over while talking over me", i was given about three min to talk to him before he came to this conclusion and dismised my physical symptoms as emotional before he even heard them. I had to get up and walk out of the office visit, apoligizing profusely as i left, i simply did not want to offend his nice staff and office workers. i feel this man has a god complex and does not beleive that their can even be ANY problems related to a surgery that HE performs. he should be forced to take clases in how to deal with pple with disabilities, we have physical problems as well as any non disabled person and deserve to be listened to. I have never been talked to this way before by any dr i have ever seen. i truely need advice from my surgon as to what is going on with his surgery that he performed. i wouldnt dream of letting him cut on me again, but i would at least like to have a dialog with him. this is not fair.
