Dr. Perales is one of my favorite doctors. I had an injury which resulted in scar tissue, which can develop into repercussions, so she monitors the area every three months. She is conscientious of my health, takes a keen interest in making sure things stay normal, and in the event if something should develop, I'm confident the issue would be taken care of promptly and efficiently. Despite her busy schedule (I know it can be hectic having come from a family w/a doctor), she doesn't rush me through an appointment and makes me feel I am exclusive and talks to me about any questions or problems. I would highly recommend her to any of my female friends.

She double books her appointments. I had to wait 1.5 hrs. the first time and 2 hrs. the second time. She said I had a polyp in my cervix that had to be removed in the hospital. She said she couldn't tell how big it was. She also wanted to do a conization of the cervix even though my pap smear was normal and the biopsies of my polyp and surrounding tissue were benign. I got a second opinion. He said the polyp is small and doesn't need to be removed. He also said that he has removed larger polyps in his office before.
