I would never recommend Dr. Newman to anyone. She was not at all helpful to me in my condition, I came to her for help with severe ulcerative colitis and she sent me home doing NOTHING but getting aggrevated because I was asking questions about the anesthesia used for the colonoscopy! I needed emergency care and ended up in the hospital under the care of another gastroentolgist I found who was wonderful. Maria Newman acts impatient when she is seeing you and checking her watch and unwilling to take time with you to answer questions. She is extremely argumentative and didn't do a good job explaining things.
