I was a patient of dr drew Hecht for 7 years. I had a history of high blood pressure and frequent urination at night. As a terminal cancer patient I reviewed by medical records to find many miss opportunities for dr drew Hecht to diagnose by kidney cancer( I had a 11 cm tumor ). Dr drew Hecht did not order a ultrasound of my kidneys- history of high blood pressure beginning at age 33. His staff did not take my blood pressure during my first two office visits. Dr drew Hecht just wrote me a script for clias and did an in office ultrasound of my bladder every year. The biggest mistake was not following up when I had blood in my urine during my last visit (I was not told of this: read it in his notes). At my last visit I even told dr drew hecth that something was wrong- he said that he did not know. My life will never be the same.
