The office is okay. Staff is capable and mostly friendly. Wait time was pretty long. I am putting together this review for those who suffer mental issues caused by neurological issues. I felt that Dr. Esper knew what he was talking about and described things to me in terms that I could understand. I have had a pretty rough time neurologically for years, so I was pretty happy that I had a pretty competent doctor. My complaint is with the fact that Dr. Esper seemed to not give any consideration to the mental health/neurological connection. I was very depressed and suicidal when I happened to go in for an appointment with him. Although he took it seriously and referred me for a psych evaluation, I felt mortified with the things that were said to me. He told me that it was pretty much ridiculous that I felt this way. Things that anyone who has ever suffered clinical depression doesn't need or want to hear. He made me feel much worse that I confided in him and trusted him with something that is hard to share. I thought that he should have been much more understanding being a neurologist and knowing the connection. I had a serious mental breakdown and suicide attempt less than a week after my appointment. It took a lot of work to get back on my feet, but I am doing well now. I write this review years later being in good mental health and excellent state of mind.
