Ned M. Weiss, M.D. is Board certified in Internal Medicine as well as in Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester (Phi Beta Kappa) and Hahnemann Medical College. After a residency in Internal Medicine, Dr. Weiss completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Chicago. He has extensive training and experience in the use of very low calorie diets, especially in patients with hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and diabetes mellitus. Dr. Weiss was named Top Doctor for weight management in the May 2000 issue of Philadelphia Magazine. As Medical Director of the Abington Weight Management Center, Dr. Weiss is committed to providing the highest quality of medical care to ensure the safety of the program.
