As a patient of Dr. Michelle Grewal & Physicians for Women of G'boro for over six years, I truly cannot say enough about how happy I am with the care I have received. Dr. Grewal and her staff are absolutely top notch. She has delivered my two children and in both cases we have had extenuating circumstances that put my childrens' lives in danger. In both cases, Dr. Grewal's expertise has played a direct role in saving my childrens' lives and my husband and I are forever grateful and thankful for her.
Put quite simply, there is no one on this planet who I would put above Dr. Grewal in providing the best care possible for both myself and my children. She is a good woman. She listens to you as a patient. And more importantly, she not only listens, she takes charge and she helps you establish a plan for better health. She remembers you as a pt and you don't feel like you have to "start over" with her at every visit. She takes you seriously as a pt, she doesn't put your concerns off to the next visit, and she doesn't talk down to you. In fact, she's one of the happiest physicians I've ever seen. Her personality is one of calm, caring, control.
I will admit that sometimes there is a wait; but, if you are the type of pt that appreciates that your physician doesn't just herd pts thru like cattle, but that she takes her time with each visit to ensure that all questions are answered, then the wait is definitely worth it. Throughout my pregnancies, I have visited several times with each of Dr. Grewal's OB counterparts and I can testify that had any of them been in a position to deliver me that I would have also been in excellent hands. Dr. Grewal and her counterparts all exercise a caring demeanor and they all put you at ease with a calm, experienced and caring bedside manner. When I have rotated thru and visited with Dr. Grewal's counterparts, I have never felt like I was just "Dr. Grewal's pt." In other words, her counterparts didn't dismiss my concerns or treat me any differently than they would have their own patient. They were kind, skilled and took care of me with the upmost care.
I have moved about an hour and a half away - but I have no plans to change where I receive my Gyn care (no longer need OB care). It is worth the drive to continue to be in such good hands. If you ever notice at Physicians for Women, there is very little turnover in staff. I have been greeted by the same upfront staff, nurses, techs, etc for years. They know who I am when I come thru the door and they greet me with warmth and kindness. I've had only positive experiences with the office/finance/billing etc and if nothing else, this minimal turnover is a testiment that the folks in this office run a good ship and that the staff is happy.
I would recommend Dr. Grewal, her counterparts and staff to any woman looking for OB/GYN care. I should also mention as well, that the staff at Women's Hospital is equally great. Their birthing staff, NICU staff and neonatologists are all top notch.
There is no higher compliment that I can pay to Michelle Grewal - she is the absolute best at her profession and we are very lucky to have her here in Greensboro!
