I am writing this review as I am recovering from my 2nd sinus surgery within one year. This doctor, or as the subsequent doctors I saw referred to him as "who did this botch job?" I had sinus surgery with Dr. DeBlasi in August 2017 for very large polyps and severe chronic sinus infections. I followed up as advised and right from the very beginning, I was again having several severe sinus infections and was constantly being put on steroids and antibiotics. After 8 months of following up with Dr. DeBlasi he informed me that I needed to do my surgery again. I questioned if this was normal to have to repeat this surgery so soon and I was told by him that it was not but the fact remained that I needed to redo the surgery which he advised would be done at no charge. This was coming from an office that charged patients to fill out their insurance forms. Of course I took my records, which I was also charged for, to seek other opinions. The MRI which was ordered by the next doctor revealed very large polyps and massive infection. I was put on very strong antibiotics and steroids to attempt to at least shrink the polyps to no avail. I then had to schedule ambulatory sinus surgery with another surgeon. Unfortunately, a medical issue arose at that time and the surgery had to be aborted. I was then a few weeks later admitted to the hospital for this surgery. I am still recovering and have had to endure a horrific year with this issue and it is my sincere hope that I can at least prevent someone from enduring what I have at the very unqualified hands of this man-very much the sweet talker-no ability and practicing in a filthy office.
