The nursing/office staff were all wonderful. I saw two out of three providers for prenatal care before I was transferred to Albany Medical Center. I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Michael Moore. He is very obviously a new doctor. His bedside manor is terrible and he comes off as very inpatient and rude. I did not have confidence that he could answer my questions as he seemed to dodge questions and rush my appointment along. I also saw Dr. Potluri who I would have preferred over Dr. Moore, but unfortunately the practice does not allow you to choose your provider. I was referred to Albany Medical Center due to a high risk pregnancy with the impression (from Dr. Potluri) that their practice was not equipped to handle certain issues. I appreciated the honesty and the referral to a more advanced hospital capable of handling possible issues with my pregnancy and delivery. However, upon going to the Emergency Room in Oneonta for dehydration from a stomach bug, I was seen by Dr. Moore. He was more concerned (and seemingly insulted) by the fact that I transferred care than my current condition after spending all night in the hospital. This was very off-putting. He seemed to blame me for leaving their practice, when there was an obvious lack of communication between providers. If your pregnancy is by-the-book, and you don't mind being rushed through your prenatal appointments then this practice would suffice. Otherwise, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Their staff is very friendly and professional, but Dr. Evanczyk is severely lacking in bedside manor. He's a much older doctor and acts like he knows my body better than I do, almost to the point of being rude and callous. Very much seemed like I was wasting his time by coming in for a routine post partum exam. I will not be going back to him.
