Dr. Wolff has been my Mother's Doctor for the past 6-7 years or so. During that time her health has gone spirally backwards and Last summer she was almost DEAD and in the ER due to his incompetence.
He continues to prescribe Xanax to her even though he Prefers she not be on it , this against my wishes. My mother can't remember her own name sometimes due the improper prescribing and over dosing from this drug. He represcribed via phone call after putting her a wean down program at the suggestion of an incompetent Hospice nurse??
My mother missed her follow up Dr. Visit to him recently since her WEAN DOWN and Re-prescribe by Dr. Wolff.
I'm currently filing complaints with State about him and Hospice NURSE.
Funny thing is they keep her drugged up on Xanax while claiming she's going senile.
If you care for your elderly parent go to another Doctor that actually does his job. When I took her to her last appointment and met Dr. Wolff after complaining about the Xanax being prescribed. He was rude and unfriendly but quickly began a Wean Down plan knowing I was correct.
My sister brought in incompetent Hospice Team Death nurse and we argued about the Xanax. The DEATH Nurse claimed "it helps relax her esophagus after smoking" she has COPD. I walked out of the meeting and incompetent hospice nurse got Dr.? Wolff to represcribe Xanax when she was almost done with it.
Dr Wolff was contacted by me and when he called again was rude and cold and again states "I prefer she NOT be on it" but feels comfortable?? letting her have it if it is in a lockbox.
Now he is prescribing it to keep her from "Bouncing" off the walls?? She is 84 and uses a walker while on Oxygen? she still smokes? and has been on Xanax for over 10 years straight??
Complaints are being submitted. Go to another Doctor if you love your parent.

Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen.
