They need to treat their staff with more respect. They weren't overly rude but they could have been a lot nicer. It was a little unnerving that they weren't able to answer the majority of my questions. I left feeling a bit confused and frustrated. I was not satisfied with my visit with this provider; I felt confused and uneasy when I left. I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone! I got such poor care here, and wouldn't want anyone else to suffer! They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. He was more interested in performing an unnecesssary procedure. Has absolutely no bedside manner. Was extremely rude when he returned my phone call.

I think Dr. Stein is a fine Doctor and I feel confident in his diagnosis , treatment and prognosis .

I find the Staff to be above average in congeniality which appears to be hard to find in New York City a place where one often encounters practices that are large and have overworked Staff who may do technical tasks well , but seem to forget how important it is for patients to have a good emotional experience where they feel respected , important enough and cared about .

I would highly recommend Dr. Stein and Riverdale Gastroenterology who also appear to see patients on a more timely basis than many other Specialists who are booked up for months .
