If you are wary of receiving treatment from a sarcastic and cynical therapist with little to no respect for your own views and dreams then stay away! Spent 5 + years under intensive treatment, to leave with no more than a pessimistic outlook on life and less confidence and still less ability to function in the real world (and I originally came to him with minor depression). If you are already seeing this therapist, I highly recommend that you seek treatment elsewhere, despite his abundant confidence in his own therapeutic prowess and quickness to judge and discount any other method or source of treatment. If you are hoping to learn to accept and resign yourself to your depression as a way of life then this practitioner may be for you, otherwise, stay away!
