Dr. Hal Hankinson is awesome! He performed a bifrontal craniotomy on me in January 2003. He had never seen a case like mine. I had a bone tumor over my left eye that was forcing my left eye closed and beginning to force the skin out. It went back into the sinus area. He removed what he could without going into the sinus area.

I want to thank Dr. Hal Hankinson for saving my life. On August 3, 2012 I was hit by a car while walking on a dirt road in my neighborhood. I walked every evening at sunset. The man was speeding and hit me from behind with such force he broke my spine in 6 places, broke my hip, and split open my head. Dr. Hankinson was my emergency nurosurgen, and he stitched me up, kept me in an induced comma for two weeks, and made sure I would survive well. NM is lucky to have such an outstanding physician available. I have met several other people over the years who had elective surgery with Dr. Hankinson with excellent results. I know I forgot to thank him earlier, as my tramatic brain injury has left me behind on proactive efforts. Thank you so much Dr. Hankinson!! May you forever be rewarded for all the pain and suffering you have eliminated.
