I have never been so upset. I decided to switch to this office because it was closer to home & family members had gone there. I was told at the time I made my 1st appt I would fill out a form & the staff would fax to my previous doctor for my child's records. Once I got there a very rude receptionist said that is something that is never done & had no idea who told me that. My daughter was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. I have almost become an expert at this because she has had so many in her 9yrs. It is right up there with strep. In her whole life with how many she has had she has ALWAYS been given an antibiotic. She was given a medicated cough syrup instead. I didnt think to question at the time because I thought he knew what he was doing. That was yesterday. Today she is much worse. In the past even if she didnt need an antibiotic, her drs always gave me a script just in case. I called the office to speak about this & even before I got out what I needed I was treated with an attitude from the office people. My sister was in there the other day with her child who puked on the floor & no one offered to help. They told her get tissue paper out of the bathroom. There was no toilet paper in there & when she asked for a napkin, she was given an attitude. Even though my daughter was just treated YESTERDAY I was advised I would have to pay another co-pay to have my daughter seen to get an antibiotic. Being I couldnt afford another co-pauy I said well I need a note for school then because she cannot go back tomorrow. I received a call at 7:30pm saying the doctor said there is no reason she cannot go back to school as if they are sitting here with me seeing what I am. I do not WANT my child to miss school. She loves school. She just is NOT well enough to attend & I know the school would agree. I asked to speak with the doctor & was told he left for the day even though they just called me at 7:30pm. I have never dealt with such rude people in my life. Unfortunately I now have to change doctors again & pay another co-pay at her prevoius doctor just to get the care I shouldve received in the first place.

Dr. H is a very great doctor. I will only allow him and 2 other doctors in his practice to see/treat my daughter. He is knowledgeable in my daughter's rare disease and he is very understanding and very caring. His bedside manner is TERRIFIC. Dr. H. is the best.
