I agree with the previous reviewers here. Dr. Mouse is an outstanding doctor and I was extremely disappointed to find he had left Family Care of Independence. Thank you for posting the information about his new practice. If anyone has the phone number for his new practice, please feel free to post it as well.

That said, Dr. Carothers, newly arrived at Family Care of Independence, is also an excellent doctor. She was my physician previous to Dr. Mouse. I had been her patient for a very long time (can't remember when I started seeing her, but I think it was shortly after she began practicing medicine), but the practice she was in closed and a friend recommended I see Dr. Mouse. In my opinion, Dr. Carothers is as good as Dr. Mouse. I was looking forward to having my two favorite doctors in the same practice, but unfortunately it was not to be.

(Allow me to say, however, that the other doctor at Family Care of Independence, whose name begins with A, should never have been given a license to practice medicine and I would have to be on my deathbed before consenting to be seen by her again...and maybe not even then. I have never before been treated so disrespectfully nor given less medical care by someone purporting to be a healthcare professional.)
