They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them.

This doctor is top notch. Technically on top of his game, but still has an element of that old-school doctor/patient relationship of caring that is so rare! Our little boy required two eye surgeries to correct strabismus. Dr. Ballard was very conservative in his approach, attempting non-surgical methods of correction before suggesting surgery which I appreciated. He is also very good at engaging kids and takes his time explaining procedures to parents. Very professional, knowledgable and a skilled surgeon--with a kid-friendly sense of humor! Our son sees so well he doesn't even need glasses any more. Highly recommend him.
