Do not, by any means, go to Dr. Olson. The staff made it completely obvious that they didn't respect him. He made me uncomfortable. He didn't discourage my negative behavior at all, in fact encouraged it. He didn't seem to care . I didn't learn anything. I'm sure he left knowing less about me. I'm very uncomfortable with proceeding with my treatment. He diagnosed me with dry eye for some reason, I guess I blinked or something. There's no way I'll ever see Olson again. Go elsewhere. In/out four minutes, maybe less. Condescending. Knowingly and willfully betrayed confidentiality. Rather unfriendly and terse. Just the usual dumb psychiatrist nonsense.
I try to be as candid, responsible and goodnaturedly in my answers as possible, but we always end at loggerheads. He just regurgitates some crap his assistant tells him. "Where do you want to send that fish oil?'', they say, and you're gone. They just act like pharmaceudical pimps. Four minute one way conversation get the prescription and job done.
Then after I'm through apologizing for nothing, he says,"theres no need to be angry." ..... Okay, I guess i'm "angry", "depressing", "not fine because i stopped." and he's known me for sixty seconds and is sure what i "need." "There's no need to feel." basicly.
He squints and shrugs and shakes his head a lot. just dumb.
TOTAL.
BLOODY.
QUACK.
