My daughter was in a car accident on I-81 (about 5 years ago) when a negligent truck driver slammed into the back of stopped traffic.. One of her front teeth was knocked out (as well as other injuries that were treated at the hospital before she was sent to Dr. Meador). Dr. Meador gave my daughter several shots at one time in the upper front roof of her mouth (where it is the most sensitive) to numb the front of her mouth. The shots were excruciatingly painful. He should have given her one shot, let that begin to take effect and then give her the rest of them around the periphery so she would not have felt them as much or at all. She almost passed out from the pain. It was extremely unprofessional, and has had a lasting effect on my daughter. Bad bedside manner, too. Nothing was explained to her or us before or after he worked on her, and we waited 2-3 hours in the waiting room after she had spent the night getting nose surgery in the hospital. He was awful, and his staff was not friendly or helpful either.
