I was disappointed that after changing insurance, we were not made aware that they aren't participating providers. We were very clear that our family's insurance was changing. However, AFTER my wife completed her cleaning, they hit us with my son's unpaid sealant bill and the cost of cleaning. They never sent the unpaid sealant bill in the mail, which was many months prior to my wife's cleaning. Seems like a little dishonesty in the billing methods. Their response to me was: "you didn't specifically ask if we are participating providers."
I have been a patient of Gilrain, Brooks and Crowder for many years, but life got busy and I did not get my regular cleanings. Finally after 5 years(!) I scheduled a cleaning with Mimi. She was great! Not only was she gentle, (my teeth had a lot of plaque build up) she made me feel comfortable and answered any questions or concerns I had, and didn't make me feel terribly guilty for neglecting my checkups. I just loved her and would highly recommend her for cleanings. I also met with Nellie Crowder and liked her very much as well as I usually see Dr. Gilrain. One highly satisfied patient!!
