Michael Richards, DDS

Dr. Richards is part of a local tradition of orthodontic excellence. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, he is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, where he received his degrees in both dentistry and orthodontics. He has been in practice for almost 20 years and is also a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Utah Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Salt Lake District Dental Society, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists; and is also currently on the board of directors for the Utah Association of Orthodontists.

He has visited several classrooms to teach dental and orthodontic health, and he is actively involved in his church. Dr. Richards and his wife Becky are the proud parents of six awesome children. In his spare time he enjoys running in marathons, cycling, tennis, skiing, boating, waterskiing and wake-boarding.

Dr. Richards is constantly pursuing advanced education for himself and his staff. He offers the latest orthodontic techniques and approaches, including the revolutionary Damon and Invisalign systems. He strives to provide you with advanced, state-of-the-art, comfortable and personalized care.

Dr Richards and his staff are great. They are all very professional yet warm and caring. I have never had braces before but Dr Richards guided me to get the best product for me which ended up being Invisilign. I was a little nervous at first but he came highly recommended. I have been very happy with the entire experience from the start.

I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable.
