Worst dentist experience ever ! Run, dont walk ! After fracturing a tooth, and departing for service in the middle east in one day, I made an emergency appointment with Monarch Dental in Rockwall. After xrays, the doctor "Dr. thompson" came back with a sheet of dental codes and a total of $10,600 !! She also said it was all needed because the broken tooth could not be saved. When I said to just pull the tooth, she got up and walked out of the room. Ten minutes later another lady told me they could not extract the tooth until mid July, a month and a half later ! I told them they were shameful for their actions and that I had no intentions of buying a new car for the dentist, and left as I was so pissed I feared doing something the law would be called in to deal with.

Monarch Dental wasted my time, when I had so little of it to spare, and refused service in an emergency because I would not pay for a full mouth of un needed services. Their actions were horrible, unprofessional, and completely Un-American !

I went to Comfort Dental the next morning (day I was leaving) and they were very polite, caring, and were able to save the tooth with a crown for $600.

You have been warned. This office is terrible, will probably treat you poorly, and will try to get as much money out of you as possible.

KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN!!! We brought our 6 year old daughter in and she had to have a tooth pulled. The kid was scared and began crying. The Dr said she didn't want to continue with the procedure because "peadiatric dentists were good at this kind of thing". She proceeded to ridicule our daughter loudly to the other patients and kept rolling her eyes at us. She made no secret that she "didn't want to be there on a Saturday". It was a nightmare. We had to get our kid checked out today somewhere else and they were shocked at the work. Patel even neglected to prescribe antibiotics because she was in such a hurry to enjoy her weekend. Overall she was very dismissive and short tempered and found our daughter's pain to be a subject of high amusement with which to entertain the other patients with. Our daughter was very traumatized with the ordeal and we are currently researching what action we can take.

It is worth noting that there are two Dr Patels at this practice. I apologize to the innocent one but the office staff refused to give me her full name once they realized something was wrong.
