Today, August 25, 2011, I went in for my annual dental check up at West Lake Dental in Humble, Texas. After my X-Ray's were completed I was asked if there were any issues and I said "yes, I'm still having problems with my crown". Dr. Brandy Burnett was there and remembered the tooth. I told her I have to constantly remove food and it bleeds because I'm using dental floss to get food out of it each day. I told her I want it redone. She then said, "There is a window of opportunity and the time may have run out so there could be a cost to have it fixed, but I will research it and find out". I told her "I'm not paying any money" and she then said "I don't do anything for free". I then said again "I'm not paying any money". She then said, "You need to find another dentist". I said, "OK, but first you need to research and see if there will be any cost associated with you fixing my tooth and then we can discuss" and she said, "No, You may leave now and I will walk you out". I then told her, "You did the work, you need to make this right" and she said, "I will walk you out now" and I was saying under my breath, "oh my gosh, oh my gosh" as I was walking and her behind me, making sure I was leaving. And, I stopped to look at her because I was so stunned and she said, "I will make sure you get all your paper work, but you need to leave now". What happened to working it out, reaching a compromise, something but not this? I can see her asking me to leave if II was irate or threatening her, but I did none of that, no voices were raised by anyone. Please be aware if you use this dentist.
