I was quoted $250 to remove a tooth, when i refused service Dr. Allan Hamburg said he would refer me to and oral surgeon which only charges $27 to remove the same tooth they were trying to charge me $250 for.
I have been a client since 2000 or longer. This morning I was told because I was 10 minutes late, I could wait an hour or more, after another patient appointment was completed or reschedule. I was not provided with this information by Mary, the receptionist, until I asked how long it would be before I would be seen. Last Wednesday, 11/30/2011, I arrived approximately 10 min. early and waited nearly an hour to be seen for x-rays resulting in an estimate of $3,<url removed> for a crown replacement. I was contemplating a second opinion, due to the exorbent amount presented to me. However, this incident coupled with a conversation with this establishment's representative-Colleen at the corporate office has made my decision to seek elsewhere for my future dental needs. This customer service is not acceptable.
