Education Dr. Joseph was born in Charleston SC, and was raised in Greeleyville, SC a town that is so small that it has no stoplights. He studied at The Citadel (The Military College of South Carolina) and earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He later earned his DMD at the Medical University of South Carolina and studied Orthodontics at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY (Now the University of Rochester).
Training Since Dr. Joseph started his professional career, continuing education has played a consistent and important role in the way he practices orthodontics. He attends monthly meetings at the Greater Columbia Dental Association, yearly meetings for the American Association of Orthodontics, yearly meetings for the American Equilibration Society in Chicago, recently a Mini Implant meeting in Las Vegas, NV and he gives monthly lectures to the general dentistry residents at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital. In 1994,
Certification Board Certified Orthodontist. Dr. Joseph is a Diplomat for the American Board of Orthodontics.

Pleasant atmosphere, although on our first appointment we waited for over a half an hour to be seen. Dr. Joseph was nice, but because of the nature and out of pocket cost for what they said I needed done I decided to get another consultation. The other orthodontist I saw was clear that the issue wasn't as urgent as Dr.Joseph's office made it seem. Also, he recommended treatment in a way that might not require a phase II of treatment down the line. I don't know if the omission of information was intentional or not, I choose to think that it wasn't, but it has made me rethink my choice of who I'll be returning to for treatment.

I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to reorganize my day around my appointment at all. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting.
