Stay AWAY! Incompetent staff. Dec '14 I had my initial consult. Receptionist took me to the room, put the bib on, not washing her hands, and moved the floating monitor screen from 1' away to 2' away. The next 5 minutes I had a patients private info on a large monitor 2' away. That could've been my info after I left. I made it clear that I would not be paying, someone else would be paying on my behalf, and I need an estimate. I left. Jan 15 I broke the canine at root. Called. Response "did you call (periodontist)." Next day got a call that Dr Weiss would like to see me. I explained there was a storm. (SILENCE) (Crickets) Not even an alternative time/date. March 4 I called about the estimate so I can get some money to them and start the work. This work needs to be done prior to orthodontics. March 5 I was told that Dr Weiss would be talking to my perio. March 11 my perio said "braces can go on". I have major work to have done before that and still no estimate. March 16- I called the office with "estimate?". I just lost 3 1/2 months of treatment time waiting. No, I was not pleasant, understandably so. Later in the day Dr Weiss called to tell me that he (finally) spoke w/my perio, and explained he can't give me an estimate. (Gee, Endodontist, Periodontist, Orthodontist, and previous dentists gave me estimates). I explained that I just need a "roundabout" and understand that there is fluctuation. Dr Weiss, knowing that the only way I can sit in his chair is with pre-payment, told me "if that's not agreeable, we'll have to part ways". I told him that I wished he would've told me in December, I would've had the work done by now. This is ethical???? I lost 3 1/2 months waiting for the estimate that never was to be, and it'll be another 2-3 months of procedures/ healing/ repeat. Did I mention I just had a bone graft, so braces should be on immediately? Or, that I need to leave the area, so as soon as I get all of the dental/ orthodontics/ etc done, I will be moving? And, this "Best of (something)" dentist just put me off 5 1/2 - 6 months. Thanks for nothing, Dr Weiss!

I trust Michael Weiss and have used him for 29 years. He is careful, precise and current. He is an excellent dentist who continues to develop his expertise and a state of the art practice. All of the many people whom I have referred to Dr. Weiss have been very pleased with him and have become regular patients. He is knowledgeable and has special interest in cosmetic work as well as routine dentistry. He is a true artist when fitting crowns, matching color and whitening. Scheduling tries to accommodate patient needs.
