I have Dental Pay Plus. With this ins, cleanings are free. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist. I called 3 dentists before springville dental arts. My first question was "do you accept dental pay plus". They told me "no". Then I called SD arts group. They told me. "Yes, we do." I was happy and made appointments for my wife and daughter. The day came for their appt. After the cleanings, on their way out, my wife was told "That will be $98." Needless to say, I was quite upset. I called to question them and was told that "We told you we are not a provider but we accept dental pay plus." First, nice try backtracking because the only response I got was "yes we do." Second, although I wasn't told that, what does that mean? And the receptionist is rude and unhelpful. I believe it was her fault for saying they accept it in the first place. Now I'm being threatened with collections and I believe this is unfair and I have been scammed. I wouldn't have thought a dentist would resort to these sort of practices just to make $100.

I was completely satisfied with my visit and feel that it was time and money well spent. I am lucky to have such a kind and caring dentist as Dr. Smith is. He is always concerned about how I am feeling and that I am comfortable. He takes such good care of me and I am not so afraid to go on a regular basis.
